African blue lily (Agapanthus africanus) is an evergreen plant for  zone 8-11. It is native to South Africa.

A. africanus has broad leaves, green, fleshy,  with length of 10-35 cm.

The floral stem reaches a height of 50-60 cm. And bears umbel with 20-30 blue flowers.

African blue lily  blooms in summer.

Thrives in fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun but can tolerate partial shade.
