Anemone tomentosa is a herbaceous, dense perennial plant that can be easily grown. It has usually height 60-90 cm., but it can reach 1.5 meters. It is also called Japanese Anemone.

Japanese Anemone flowering period is from end of summer until middle Autumn (August-October) . Flowers are pale pink color with darker shadings and the core displays a ring of yellow stamens.

Anemone tomentosa prefers moist, fertile, well-drained humus soils, in sunny or semi-shaded positions. The soil should not dry out .

The foliage may burn at very dry, warm environment with a lot of sunshine

Bad drained soils, especially in winter, should be avoided.
